About the Program

This is the class for you if you are experiencing the following symptoms of the peri to post menopause transition:

  • Urine leaking with activity, coughing , sneezing or laughing
  • Frequent urine+/- bowel urge with or without leaking
  • Difficulty pooping or starting your urine stream
  • Symptoms of prolapse including pelvic floor or lower abdominal heaviness
  • Changes in your sexual health including pain/discomfort in your pelvic floor and abdomen, decreased desire , and vaginal dryness
  • You’ve tried to start moving again after years of building a family, career, business or just plain being busy and you experience recurrent back low back, tail bone, pelvic, hip or abdominal pain or discomfort.

This program is built around the idea that forming a movement habit takes time and self-compassion.

This program will help you build an  exercise program for your inner core and pelvic floor. During each session you will receie guidance about how to add resistance training to your weekly exercise routine.

In addition, a licensed counselling therapist will guide you through self-reflection exercises to take steps in your life to improve sleep, reduce stress and  create room for yourself to build a movement habit.

And a nutritionist will provide information and answer your questions about how to  eat  for the energy you need to fuel your day.

Participants will benefit from a supportive and understanding environment where they can share experiences and progress at their own pace. The program emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to health, addressing not only physical symptoms but also mental and emotional well-being. Each session is designed to provide a safe space for learning, self-discovery, and community building, where women can openly discuss their challenges and triumphs without judgment. By integrating exercise, self-reflection, and nutrition, the program aims to empower women to take control of their health, building resilience and confidence to navigate the changes associated with menopause.

The personalized support from healthcare professionals, including a licensed counselling therapist and a nutritionist, ensures that participants receive well-rounded guidance to help them achieve their health goals. This comprehensive approach not only enhances physical strength and mobility but also fosters a deeper connection with one’s body, encouraging a positive mindset and a proactive attitude towards long-term well-being. Ultimately, the program strives to help women embrace this life stage with vitality, grace, and self-compassion, paving the way for a healthier and more fulfilling life during and beyond menopause.
